Method
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Set up three shallow bowls. In the first, place the flour. In the second, whisk the eggs. In the third, combine the breadcrumbs, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Dredge each chicken tender first in the flour, shaking off any excess. Then dip it into the beaten eggs, letting any excess drip off. Finally, coat it thoroughly with the breadcrumb mixture.
- Lightly spray the air fryer basket with olive oil or cooking spray.
- Place the coated chicken tenders in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Do not overcrowd; cook in batches if necessary.
- Air fry for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and cooked through.
- Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauces.
Notes
For extra crispy tenders, you can double-coat them by dipping them back into the egg and then the breadcrumbs after the first coating.
