  • 3 Apples cored and chopped
  • 1/2 cup Celery chopped
  • 1/4 cup Walnuts chopped
  • 2 tablespoons Raisins
  • 1/4 cup Mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon Sugar
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Black pepper

Method
 

  1. Combine chopped apples, celery, walnuts, and raisins in a large bowl.
  2. In a separate small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, lemon juice, and sugar.
  3. Pour the dressing over the apple mixture and toss gently to coat.
  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Serve immediately or chill before serving.

Notes

You can substitute pecans for walnuts or add shredded cheddar cheese for a different flavor profile.
