For the Waffles
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 3/4 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
For the Toppings
  • fresh berries strawberries, blueberries, raspberries
  • maple syrup
  • whipped cream
  • nut butter peanut or almond butter
  • chocolate chips
  • yogurt

Method
 

  1. Preheat your waffle maker.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, beat eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla.
  4. Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients and stir until combined.
  5. Cook batter in waffle maker according to manufacturer instructions.
  6. Cut waffles into quarters and arrange on a board.
  7. Add toppings in small bowls or directly on the board.
  8. Serve immediately.
