Method
- Slice the tomatoes and fresh mozzarella into even slices.
- Arrange the tomato and mozzarella slices on a plate, alternating them. Tuck fresh basil leaves between the slices.
- In a small saucepan, combine the balsamic vinegar and honey. Simmer over medium heat until the mixture thickens and reduces by half, about 5 minutes. Let it cool slightly.
- Drizzle the balsamic glaze and olive oil over the salad. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
