Method
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add chicken pieces, salt, and pepper. Cook until chicken is browned and cooked through, about 8-10 minutes.
- Remove chicken from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add rice, chicken broth, garlic powder, and onion powder. Stir to combine.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15-20 minutes, or until rice is tender and liquid is absorbed.
- Return the cooked chicken to the skillet and stir to combine. Serve hot.
