Method
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a baking dish.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked chicken, cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, and milk. Stir until well mixed.
- Fold in half of the shredded cheddar cheese.
- Pour the chicken mixture into the prepared baking dish.
- In a small bowl, combine the crushed crackers and melted butter. Sprinkle this mixture evenly over the top of the casserole.
- Top with the remaining cheddar cheese.
- Bake for 30 minutes, or until the casserole is bubbly and the topping is golden brown.
Notes
You can add cooked vegetables like peas or carrots to the casserole mixture for extra flavor and nutrition.
