Method
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the chicken until golden and cooked through, about 6-7 minutes per side. Remove and slice into strips.
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
- Stir in the parmesan cheese and dried basil until the sauce thickens slightly.
- Add the cooked pasta and sliced chicken to the skillet. Toss to coat everything in the sauce.
- Serve hot with extra parmesan cheese if desired.
