  • 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 0.5 tsp salt
Wet Ingredients
  • 3 ripe bananas mashed
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 0.75 cup brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
Add-ins
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix the mashed bananas, melted butter, brown sugar, egg, and vanilla extract.
  4. Combine the wet and dry ingredients. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  5. Pour the batter into the loaf pan. Bake for 60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
