Ingrédients
  

For the Caramel Layer
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 4 tbsp butter
For the Chocolate Layer
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream

Method
 

  1. In a saucepan, combine sugar and water over medium heat. Stir until sugar dissolves.
  2. Bring to a boil and cook without stirring until the mixture turns amber in color.
  3. Remove from heat and carefully stir in heavy cream and butter until smooth.
  4. Pour caramel into a baking dish and let it cool slightly.
  5. In a separate bowl, melt dark chocolate chips with heavy cream, stirring until smooth.
  6. Pour the chocolate mixture over the caramel layer and spread evenly.
  7. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
