  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 0.5 tsp salt
Wet Ingredients
  • 1 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 0.75 cup granulated sugar
  • 0.75 cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups chocolate chips

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking pan.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, beat butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until creamy. Add eggs and vanilla, mixing well.
  4. Gradually stir in the dry ingredients until combined. Fold in chocolate chips.
  5. Spread the dough evenly in the prepared pan. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  6. Let cool before cutting into bars.
