  • 12 pretzel rods or twists
For the Chocolate Coating
  • 1 cup chocolate chips milk, dark, or white chocolate
  • 1 tsp vegetable oil optional, for smoother melting
For Toppings (Optional)
  • sprinkles, crushed nuts, or sea salt

Equipment

  • Microwave-safe bowl
  • Baking sheet
  • Parchment paper

Method
 

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Melt the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until smooth. Add vegetable oil if using.
  3. Dip each pretzel halfway into the melted chocolate, letting excess drip off.
  4. Place dipped pretzels on the prepared baking sheet. Add toppings if desired.
  5. Let the chocolate set at room temperature or refrigerate for 10 minutes.

Notes

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week.
