Ingrédients
  

For the Pasta
  • 12 oz penne pasta
For the Chicken
  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
For the Sauce
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes optional
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley chopped

Method
 

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken, salt, and pepper. Cook until golden and no longer pink, about 5-6 minutes. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
  4. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
  5. Return the chicken to the skillet and add the cooked pasta. Toss to coat evenly. Sprinkle with red pepper flakes and parsley before serving.

Notes
