Method
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Unfold the puff pastry sheet onto a lightly floured surface. Cut the pastry into 12 equal squares.
- Place a piece of brie in the center of each puff pastry square.
- Top the brie with about 1 teaspoon of cranberry sauce.
- Bring the corners of the puff pastry up and pinch them together to enclose the brie and cranberry sauce. You can also fold the pastry over the filling to create a small turnover.
- Place the pastry bites on the prepared baking sheet.
- Brush the tops of the pastry bites with the beaten egg wash.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown and puffed.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
You can use homemade or store-bought cranberry sauce. For a touch of sweetness, you can drizzle a little honey over the bites before serving.
