Method
- In a bowl, combine 2 cups of heavy cream, 1/2 cup of granulated sugar, and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract.
- Whisk the mixture until the sugar is dissolved and the cream is slightly thickened. Do not whip into stiff peaks.
- Divide the cream mixture evenly among four serving glasses.
- Slowly pour 1 cup of chilled club soda into each glass over the cream mixture.
- Stir gently to combine. The mixture will become frothy and creamy.
- If desired, top each glass with a small amount of additional heavy cream.
Notes
For a stronger cream soda flavor, you can add a drop of cream soda extract to the cream mixture. Adjust sweetness to your preference.
