Creamy Garlic Parmesan Chicken Pasta

Ingrédients
  

For the Chicken
  • 2 cups chicken breast cubed
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
For the Sauce
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese grated
  • 1/2 tsp italian seasoning
For the Pasta
  • 8 oz penne pasta

Equipment

  • Large skillet
  • Pot
  • Whisk

Method
 

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chicken, salt, and pepper. Cook until golden and no longer pink. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter. Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Pour in heavy cream and whisk until smooth. Stir in parmesan cheese and italian seasoning. Simmer for 2-3 minutes until thickened.
  5. Add cooked chicken and pasta to the skillet. Toss until well coated in the sauce. Serve immediately.
