Method
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken, salt, and pepper. Cook until golden and no longer pink, about 5-6 minutes. Remove from skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Pour in heavy cream and chicken broth. Stir and bring to a simmer. Cook for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Add parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning. Stir until the cheese melts and the sauce is smooth.
- Return the cooked chicken to the skillet. Add the pasta and toss to coat everything in the sauce. Serve immediately.
