Method
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, toss the trimmed green beans with olive oil, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
- Spread the green beans in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
- Roast for 10-12 minutes, or until the green beans are tender-crisp.
- Remove the baking sheet from the oven. Sprinkle the minced garlic and grated Parmesan cheese over the green beans. Toss to combine.
- Return the baking sheet to the oven for another 2-3 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and lightly golden.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
For extra crispy green beans, you can increase the roasting time slightly, watching carefully to prevent burning. You can also add a pinch of red pepper flakes for a touch of heat.
