Ingrédients
  

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream the butter with granulated sugar and brown sugar until smooth.
  4. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
  5. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until a dough forms.
  6. Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough onto the baking sheet, spacing them 2 inches apart.
  7. Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the edges are set. Let cool on the baking sheet for 2 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
