Easy Creamy Garlic Parmesan Chicken Pasta

Ingrédients
  

For the Pasta
  • 12 oz penne pasta
For the Chicken
  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
For the Sauce
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 tsp dried parsley

  • Wooden spoon

Method
 

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Season the chicken with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the chicken until golden and cooked through, about 5-6 minutes. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in parmesan cheese and parsley until the sauce thickens slightly.
  5. Return the cooked chicken to the skillet. Add the cooked pasta and toss to coat evenly in the sauce. Serve immediately.
