Ingrédients

For the Mummy Dogs
  • 8 hot dogs
  • 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 1 tbsp mustard for eyes
For the Spider Deviled Eggs
  • 6 hard-boiled eggs
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp mustard
  • 12 black olives for spider legs

Equipment

  • Baking sheet
  • Mixing bowl

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Unroll the crescent dough and cut it into thin strips. Wrap each hot dog with the dough strips to resemble mummy bandages, leaving a small space uncovered for the eyes.
  3. Place the wrapped hot dogs on a baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes, or until the dough is golden brown.
  4. Use mustard to dot eyes on the uncovered part of each hot dog.
  5. For the spider deviled eggs, cut the hard-boiled eggs in half and remove the yolks.
  6. Mix the yolks with mayonnaise and mustard until smooth. Spoon the mixture back into the egg whites.
  7. Cut the black olives into thin strips to create spider legs. Place four legs on each side of the deviled eggs.
