For the Pumpkin
  • 1 medium pumpkin

Equipment

  • Sharp knife
  • Large spoon
  • Marker

Method
 

  1. Cut a circle around the stem of the pumpkin and remove the top.
  2. Scoop out the seeds and pulp with a large spoon.
  3. Draw your design on the pumpkin with a marker.
  4. Carve along the lines of your design with a sharp knife.
  5. Place a candle or light inside the pumpkin to illuminate your design.

Notes

Use a serrated knife for easier carving. Keep the pumpkin in a cool place to preserve it longer.
