Ingrédients
  

For the Turkey
  • 1 whole turkey 12-14 pounds
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
For the Stuffing
  • 6 cups bread cubes day-old
  • 1 cup chopped celery
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 cups chicken broth

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C).
  2. Rub the turkey with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  3. Place the turkey in a roasting pan and bake for 3 to 4 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  4. For the stuffing, melt butter in a skillet and sauté celery and onion until soft.
  5. Mix the sautéed vegetables with bread cubes and chicken broth.
  6. Bake the stuffing in a greased dish at 350°F (175°C) for 30 minutes.
