Ingrédients
  

For the Main Dish
  • 1 lb Chicken breast cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 medium Onion chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 cup Broccoli florets
  • 1/2 cup Chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup Soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp Cornstarch mixed with 2 tbsp water
For Serving
  • 4 cups Cooked rice

Equipment

  • Large skillet
  • Cutting board
  • Knife

Method
 

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add chicken pieces and cook until browned on all sides.
  3. Add chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook until the onion is softened, about 3-5 minutes.
  4. Stir in broccoli florets, chicken broth, and soy sauce. Bring to a simmer.
  5. Pour in the cornstarch mixture and stir until the sauce thickens.
  6. Serve the chicken and broccoli mixture over cooked rice.

Notes

You can substitute chicken with tofu or shrimp. Feel free to add other vegetables like bell peppers or carrots.
