For the Roast Beef
  • 3 lb beef roast such as sirloin or ribeye
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
For the Garlic Herb Butter
  • 1/2 cup butter softened
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh rosemary chopped
  • 1 tbsp fresh thyme chopped

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Season the beef roast with salt and pepper.
  3. In a bowl, mix the softened butter, minced garlic, rosemary, and thyme.
  4. Rub the garlic herb butter all over the roast.
  5. Place the roast in a roasting pan and cook for about 90 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 135°F (57°C) for medium-rare.
  6. Let the roast rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
