Ingrédients
  

For Spiced Apple Chips
  • 2 large apples e.g., Fuji or Honeycrisp
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
For Sweet Potato Fries with Paprika
  • 2 medium sweet potatoes peeled and cut into fries
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
For Roasted Chickpeas
  • 1 can (15 oz) chickpeas rinsed and drained
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp cumin

Equipment

  • Mixing bowl

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 200°F (95°C).
  2. For the spiced apple chips: Slice the apples thinly. In a bowl, toss the apple slices with cinnamon and nutmeg. Arrange in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  3. For the sweet potato fries: Toss the sweet potato fries with olive oil, paprika, and salt. Spread them on a separate baking sheet.
  4. For the roasted chickpeas: Toss the rinsed and drained chickpeas with olive oil and cumin. Spread them on another baking sheet.
  5. Bake all three preparations for 15-20 minutes, or until the apple chips are slightly crisp, the sweet potato fries are tender, and the chickpeas are slightly crunchy. You may need to rotate the baking sheets halfway through.
  6. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

These snacks can be prepared ahead of time and stored in airtight containers. Adjust spices to your preference.
