For the Oatmeal
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 2 cups water or milk
  • 1 tbsp honey optional
For the Smoothie
  • 1 banana
  • 1/2 cup frozen berries
  • 1 cup spinach
  • 1 cup almond milk

Method
 

  1. Bring water or milk to a boil in a small pot.
  2. Add rolled oats and reduce heat to low. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in honey if desired.
  4. For the smoothie, combine banana, frozen berries, spinach, and almond milk in a blender.
  5. Blend until smooth and serve immediately.
