Method
- Combine sugar and water in a small saucepan. Heat gently, stirring until the sugar is completely dissolved. Remove from heat and let cool.
- Stir the flavoring extract into the cooled sugar syrup.
- To serve, pour about 2 tablespoons of the soda syrup into each glass. Add ice and fill the glass with chilled sparkling water. Stir gently.
