Method
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels. In a large bowl, toss the wings with salt and pepper.
- Arrange the wings in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and cooked through.
- While the wings are baking, prepare the sauce. In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine the BBQ sauce, honey, hot sauce, apple cider vinegar, and garlic powder. Stir until well combined and heated through.
- Once the wings are cooked, transfer them to the large bowl. Pour the hot honey BBQ sauce over the wings and toss to coat evenly.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
For crispier wings, you can bake them for an additional 5-10 minutes after saucing. You can also broil them for a minute or two, watching carefully to prevent burning.
