Ingrédients
  

For the Chicken
  • 1.5 lbs Boneless, skinless chicken breasts Cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Black pepper
For the Alfredo Sauce
  • 4 tbsp Butter
  • 2 cloves Garlic Minced
  • 1.5 cup Heavy cream
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese Grated
  • 1/4 tsp Nutmeg Optional
  • Salt to taste Salt
  • Black pepper to taste Black pepper

  • Large skillet
  • Whisk

Method
 

  1. Season the chicken pieces with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  4. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer, stirring occasionally. Do not boil.
  5. Reduce heat to low and gradually whisk in the grated Parmesan cheese until the sauce is smooth and thickened. Stir in nutmeg, if using.
  6. Season the sauce with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Return the cooked chicken to the skillet and toss to coat with the Alfredo sauce. Heat through for 1-2 minutes.
  8. Serve immediately.

Notes
