Portions: 4 people
Type de plat: Appetizer, Main Course
Cuisine: American

Ingrédients

For the Steak Bites
  • 1.5 lbs Sirloin steak cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 0.5 tsp Black pepper
For the Lemon Garlic Butter Sauce
  • 4 tbsp Butter
  • 4 cloves Garlic minced
  • 0.25 cup Lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 2 tbsp Fresh parsley chopped

Equipment

  • Large skillet
  • Cutting board
  • Knife

Method

  1. Pat the steak cubes dry with paper towels. Season generously with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the steak cubes in a single layer, working in batches if necessary to avoid overcrowding. Sear for 1-2 minutes per side until browned. Remove steak from skillet and set aside.
  3. Reduce heat to medium. Add butter to the same skillet. Once melted, add minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
  4. Pour in the lemon juice and stir to combine with the garlic butter. Bring to a simmer and cook for 1-2 minutes until slightly thickened.
  5. Return the steak bites to the skillet. Toss to coat them in the lemon garlic butter sauce. Stir in the chopped fresh parsley.
  6. Serve immediately.

Notes

You can adjust the amount of lemon juice and garlic to your preference. Serve these steak bites with toothpicks for easy appetizer eating, or over rice or pasta for a complete meal.
