- In another bowl, whisk together the milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until well combined.
- Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
- Bake for 30 minutes, or until the top is golden and the oatmeal is set.
- Let cool slightly before serving. Drizzle with extra maple syrup if desired.
