  • 2 lbs potatoes peeled and quartered
  • 1/2 cup milk warmed
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Method
 

  1. Place potatoes in a pot and cover with cold water. Bring to a boil.
  2. Reduce heat and simmer for 15-20 minutes until potatoes are tender.
  3. Drain potatoes and return them to the pot.
  4. Add butter, milk, salt, and pepper. Mash until smooth.
