Ingrédients
  

For the Bacon-Wrapped Dates
  • 16 Medjool dates pitted
  • 8 slices bacon cut in half
  • 1/4 cup goat cheese
For the Bruschetta
  • 1 baguette French bread sliced
  • 2 cups cherry tomatoes diced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil chopped

  • Mixing bowl

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Stuff each date with goat cheese and wrap with half a slice of bacon. Secure with a toothpick.
  3. Place the bacon-wrapped dates on a baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes, or until the bacon is crispy.
  4. For the bruschetta, mix the diced tomatoes, olive oil, and basil in a bowl.
  5. Toast the bread slices lightly, then top with the tomato mixture.
  6. Serve the appetizers warm.

Notes

You can prepare the bacon-wrapped dates ahead of time and bake them just before serving.
