Ingrédients
  

For the Cheese Straws
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup butter softened
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
For the Spiced Nuts
  • 2 cups mixed nuts
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Mix cheese, butter, flour, and salt in a bowl to form a dough.
  3. Roll the dough into thin strips and place on a baking sheet.
  4. Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden.
  5. For the nuts, mix honey, cayenne, and salt in a bowl.
  6. Toss the nuts in the mixture and spread on a baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 8-10 minutes, stirring once.
