No Bake Chocolate Oat Bars

Base Layer
  • 1 cup butter melted
  • 0.5 cup brown sugar
  • 3 cups rolled oats
Chocolate Layer
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 0.5 cup peanut butter

Method
 

  1. Line an 8x8 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Mix melted butter, brown sugar, and rolled oats in a bowl until combined.
  3. Press half of the oat mixture into the prepared pan.
  4. Melt chocolate chips and peanut butter together, then spread over the oat layer.
  5. Top with the remaining oat mixture and press gently.
  6. Refrigerate for 1 hour before cutting into bars.
