For the Cookies
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 3 cups quick oats
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Method
 

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a saucepan, combine sugar, milk, butter, and cocoa powder. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly.
  3. Boil for 1 minute, then remove from heat.
  4. Stir in peanut butter, oats, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  5. Drop spoonfuls of the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet.
  6. Let the cookies chill for 30 minutes until set.
