Method
- Crack the eggs into a bowl. Add water, salt, and pepper. Whisk until well combined.
- Heat the butter in a non-stick skillet over medium heat until melted and foamy.
- Pour the egg mixture into the hot skillet. Cook for 1-2 minutes, or until the edges begin to set.
- Gently lift the cooked edges with a spatula and tilt the skillet to allow uncooked egg to flow underneath.
- Continue cooking until the omelet is set but still moist on top. Fold the omelet in half and slide it onto a plate.
Notes
You can add cheese, vegetables, or cooked meat to your omelet before folding.
