Method
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded cheese, chopped chives, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Unfold the thawed puff pastry sheet onto a lightly floured surface. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the puff pastry, leaving a small border around the edges.
- Roll up the puff pastry tightly, starting from one of the longer sides. Slice the roll into 1/2-inch thick pieces.
- Place the slices onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving some space between them.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown and puffed.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
You can add other ingredients to the cream cheese mixture, such as cooked bacon bits, finely chopped jalapeños, or sun-dried tomatoes.
