Ingrédients
  

For the Pasta
  • 12 oz pasta any type
  • 1 tbsp salt
For the Sauce
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 can crushed tomatoes 28 oz
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

Equipment

  • Large pot
  • Colander
  • Frying pan

Method
 

  1. Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add salt and pasta. Cook according to package instructions.
  2. Drain the pasta and set aside.
  3. Heat olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
  4. Add crushed tomatoes, basil, and black pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes.
  5. Toss the cooked pasta with the sauce. Serve warm.
