  • 12 oz pasta any shape
  • 1 tbsp salt
For the Sauce
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 can crushed tomatoes 28 oz
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil chopped

  • Colander
  • Skillet

Method
 

  1. Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add salt and pasta. Cook according to package instructions.
  2. Drain the pasta and set aside.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
  4. Add crushed tomatoes and black pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes.
  5. Stir in the cooked pasta and fresh basil. Serve warm.
