  • 20 oz crushed pineapple, undrained
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 4 tbsp butter, melted
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup pecans, chopped

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the crushed pineapple with its juice, sugar, and melted butter. Mix well.
  3. Stir in the flour until just combined. Do not overmix.
  4. Fold in the chopped pecans.
  5. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
  6. Bake for 30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the casserole is bubbly.
  7. Let it cool slightly before serving.

Notes

This casserole is best served warm. You can adjust the amount of sugar to your preference.
