Ingrédients
  

For the Pasta
  • 12 oz Spaghetti
For the Shrimp
  • 1 lb Shrimp Peeled and deveined
  • 4 cloves Garlic Minced
  • 1/2 cup Butter
  • 1/4 cup Chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup Heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese Grated
  • 2 tbsp Fresh parsley Chopped
  • 1/4 tsp Red pepper flakes Optional
  • Salt Salt To taste
  • Black pepper Black pepper To taste

  • Large pot
  • Large skillet

Method
 

  1. Cook spaghetti according to package directions. Reserve about 1 cup of pasta water before draining.
  2. While the pasta cooks, melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and red pepper flakes (if using) and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  3. Add the shrimp to the skillet and season with salt and pepper. Cook for 2-3 minutes per side, until pink and cooked through.
  4. Pour in the chicken broth and heavy cream. Bring to a simmer and cook for 2 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. Add the drained spaghetti, Parmesan cheese, and chopped parsley to the skillet. Toss to combine, adding a little reserved pasta water if needed to create a smooth sauce.
  6. Serve immediately.

Notes

For a richer sauce, you can add a tablespoon of lemon juice at the end.
