- Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a wooden spoon.
- Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook for 2-3 minutes until the onion is soft.
- Stir in the diced tomatoes, beef broth, oregano, basil, salt, and black pepper. Bring to a simmer.
- Add the uncooked pasta to the skillet. Stir to combine, then cover and simmer for 10-12 minutes until the pasta is tender.
- Sprinkle the shredded cheese over the top. Cover and let it melt for 1-2 minutes before serving.
