Sparkling Raspberry Limeade

Ingrédients
  

For the Limeade
  • 1 cup fresh raspberries plus more for garnish
  • 1/2 cup fresh lime juice from about 3-4 limes
  • 1/4 cup simple syrup adjust to taste
  • 2 cups cold water
  • 1 cup sparkling water or club soda chilled
  • lime slices for garnish

  • Strainer

Method
 

  1. In a pitcher, gently muddle the raspberries.
  2. Add the fresh lime juice and simple syrup to the pitcher. Stir to combine.
  3. Add the cold water and stir well. Strain the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve into another pitcher or directly into serving glasses, pressing on the solids to extract as much liquid as possible. Discard the solids.
  4. Fill serving glasses with ice. Pour the raspberry limeade mixture over the ice, filling each glass about halfway.
  5. Top off each glass with chilled sparkling water or club soda.
  6. Garnish with fresh raspberries and lime slices, if desired. Serve immediately.

Notes

For a sweeter drink, add more simple syrup. For a tarter drink, add more lime juice. You can make the raspberry limeade base ahead of time and store it in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Add the sparkling water just before serving.
