Truffle Garlic Butter Mashed Potatoes

Ingrédients
  

  • 2 lbs Russet potatoes peeled and quartered
  • 1/2 cup Butter unsalted
  • 1/2 cup Milk warm
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp Truffle oil
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Black pepper

Equipment

  • Large pot
  • Potato masher
  • Measuring cups
  • Measuring spoons

Method
 

  1. Place the quartered potatoes in a large pot and cover with cold water. Add a pinch of salt.
  2. Bring the water to a boil over medium-high heat. Cook for 15-20 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender when pierced with a fork.
  3. Drain the potatoes well and return them to the pot.
  4. Add the butter, warm milk, minced garlic, truffle oil, salt, and pepper to the pot with the potatoes.
  5. Mash the potatoes with a potato masher until smooth and creamy. Adjust seasoning if needed.
  6. Serve hot.

Notes

For extra flavor, you can add a tablespoon of chopped fresh chives or parsley before serving.
