For the Chili
  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 bell peppers, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (15 oz) black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 can (15 oz) kidney beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 2 tbsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 2 cups chicken broth

  • Wooden spoon

Method
 

  1. Heat a large pot over medium heat. Add the ground turkey and cook until browned, breaking it up with a wooden spoon.
  2. Add the onion, bell peppers, and garlic to the pot. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  3. Stir in the black beans, kidney beans, diced tomatoes, chili powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Pour in the chicken broth and bring the mixture to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes.
  5. Serve hot with your favorite toppings.
