Ingrédients
  

For the Pasta
  • 8 oz spaghetti
For the Sauce
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes halved
  • 1/4 cup white wine
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup parmesan cheese grated
  • fresh basil for garnish
  • salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water, then drain the pasta.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and red pepper flakes, sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Add cherry tomatoes and cook for 3-4 minutes until softened. Pour in white wine and simmer for 2 minutes.
  4. Stir in heavy cream and parmesan cheese until the sauce is smooth. Add the cooked pasta and toss to coat, using reserved pasta water if needed.
  5. Season with salt and pepper. Garnish with fresh basil before serving.
