Ingrédients
  

For the Brownies
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp baking powder

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8x8 inch baking pan and line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the melted butter and sugar. Stir until well mixed.
  3. Add the eggs and vanilla extract to the bowl. Mix until smooth.
  4. Sift in the cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder. Stir until just combined.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly.
  6. Bake for 20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  7. Let the brownies cool completely, then use a heart-shaped cookie cutter to cut out bites.
