Method
- Spiralize the zucchini into noodles and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add onion and garlic, sauté until softened, about 3 minutes.
- Add ground turkey to the skillet. Cook, breaking it up with a spoon, until browned, about 5 minutes.
- Stir in oregano, salt, and black pepper. Add crushed tomatoes and simmer for 10 minutes.
- While the sauce simmers, heat 1 tbsp olive oil in another skillet. Add zucchini noodles and salt. Sauté for 2-3 minutes until tender.
- Stir fresh basil into the turkey sauce. Serve the sauce over the zucchini noodles.
