For the Sandwich
  • 2 slices bread white or whole wheat
  • 2 slices ham
  • 1 slice cheese cheddar or Swiss
  • 1 leaf lettuce
  • 2 slices tomato
  • 1 tsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp mustard

  • Knife

Method
 

  1. Spread mayonnaise on one slice of bread and mustard on the other.
  2. Layer ham, cheese, lettuce, and tomato on one slice of bread.
  3. Top with the second slice of bread.
  4. Toast in a panini press or skillet until cheese melts and bread is golden.
  5. Cut in half and serve immediately.
